HICKS ON STICKS

Hicks on Sticks is a documentary feature film that is 12 years in the making. We made the first edit 5 years ago, before we turned our attention to FIRE. Events in the HICKS story were still unfolding. Now, it is more relevant than ever, and we are so excited with the new direction. We are shooting to have it done for June of 2011, and premiere it this summer. It's going to be a good summer! We are doing a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds to finish the film at the level we want it at. Happy 2011 from the Play With Fire kids!

We want to thank everyone for a FANTASTIC 2010! We succesfully carried out a western Canada Theatrical Release Tour and released a limited edition DVD. If you missed the tour you can still buy a DVD from us directly HERE. We are kicking off 2011 by gearing up for the European Film Market in Berlin. We have a sales agent repping the film there and are looking forward to screening the film for a foreign market. We also have a VOD deal in the works so you will soon be able to rent the film online. Keep you posted.

Now that Play With Fire is being released we are starting on the final edit of Hicks on Sticks. We hope to have it done by spring/ summer. Follow Hicks on Facebook to see the teaser and learn more about the production.

New Music!

We have spent the last six months searching high and low for new original music for the film. It has been a huge task, but it is finally complete, and we are so happy with the outcome. We have teamed up with some incredibly talented musicians such as The St Just Vigilantes, Aaron Read, Jesse Rankin, Makeout Videotape and more.
